Substitute Bus DriversFremont County School District #24 is hiring substitute bus drivers. Background and motor vehicle record checks must confirm no history of criminal activity. Must meet current district vehicle insurance qualifications for driving coverage. Pre-employment and ongoing drug/alcohol testing are required per federal DOT/FMCSA guidelines. Valid CDL (Class A or B) with appropriate endorsements (Passenger "P" and School Bus "S") is mandatory; applicants may obtain these through district-supported training if not already licensed. A current DOT physical, certified by an approved medical examiner, is essential to confirm the driver is healthy and able to operate a school bus safely. CPR certification should be current and documented, or obtained within first year. Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and other drivers is essential for maintaining a safe, positive environment. $22.50/hour.
