To lead and assist on programs requiring system definition and model-based architecture development.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nWill work with customers, operators, and end user surrogates to develop Concept of Operations (CONOPS) that lead to detailed system design and requirements.\nWill lead system architecture development through model-based systems engineering (MBSE) building a shared, configuration managed, architecture model at multiple levels that will be used by multiple functional groups and stakeholders on internal and customer funded programs.\nWill be the focal point on programs for system knowledge and design decisions.\nCandidate will be expected to have a solid understanding of the system, subsystems, and components, as well as all internal/external interfaces.\nWill help design and ensure compliance of interfaces between software and hardware using architecture models as the truth source and managing changes within the models when updates are required.\nWill develop data flows, activity diagrams, or sequence diagrams as appropriate to help define hardware and software systems.\nWill work on a wide range of products from Command/Control to Payloads to Exploitation systems, and work with a wide range of highly talented people from many technical disciplines.\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\nJob Qualifications\nTypically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; nine or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, seven or more years of experience with a masters degree, or four or more years with a PhD.
