Become an Employee-Owner at PERRY proTECH! A Technical Specialist is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction by assisting the sales team in developing and presenting required IT solutions. About the Role: Conduct in-depth technical discussions with clients, focusing on business goals and outcomesInvestigate client networks and complete network assessments which will support solution proposals and develop strategic directionCollaborate with technical resources to design and build proper hardware and infrastructure solutionsSupport sales during quoting and proposal/closing process as the primary technical resourceUnderstand clients' needs especially with compliance and regulationsPartner with sales to identify, qualify and develop new opportunities within existing and prospective accountsSupport account growth by identifying gaps, risks, or improvement opportunities in client environmentsPrepare and present KPI and SLA performance reviews with clients and internal staff, creating action plans where appropriateSupport sales through Quarterly Business Review process by serving as the resource for all technical-related topics Requirements & Qualifications: Interpersonal and client relation skillsAbility to think strategically and criticallyKeen attention to detail and ability to problem solvePrioritize customer service and client satisfaction5+ years in Information Technology fieldAssociate degree or equivalent with a demonstrated successful work historyExperience with Microsoft ecosystem including Servers, Entra ID, Exchange, Teams and AzureUnderstanding of a SaaS model and hosting solutionsUnderstanding of basic network technologies including wireless technologiesNetwork infrastructure (router/switch/firewalls) knowledgeMicrosoft server/AD experience and certifications is a plusExperience supporting pre-sales or client-facing solution discussionsAbility to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholdersExperience supporting opportunities through the sales cycle by addressing technical objections.
