We’re looking for a sharp, proactive Program Financial Analyst to lead financial strategy, compliance, and performance. You’ll work closely with program managers and cross functional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. If you’re ready to take ownership and make a difference, this role is a great fit.\nThe Program Financial Analyst acts as the primary financial partner to program managers, overseeing all aspects of program financials—from budgeting and billing to forecasting and reporting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring contract compliance, supporting program operations, and maintaining financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport Program Manager with financial planning, reporting, and contract-related analysis.\n\nEnsure accurate setup and ongoing maintenance of projects to support proper cost tracking, revenue recognition, and billing.\n\nMonitor contract budgets and funding, maintain forecasts, and track cost performance against plans to meet contractual obligations.\n\nPrepare and distribute financial and administrative reports, including PMR reports, Estimates to Complete (ETC), Estimates at Completion (EAC), and client-specific reporting.\n\nReview and validate labor charges, subcontractor invoices, travel vouchers, and payment allocations for compliance and accuracy.\n\nConduct financial analysis including variance analysis, risk/opportunity assessment, and scenario modeling (“what-if” analysis).\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (contracts, subcontracts, HR, purchasing, etc.) to support program execution and resolve operational issues.\n\nSupport contract administration tasks such as purchasing, facility services, and equipment tied to program requirements.\n\nComply with internal financial controls, forecasting processes, and customer/government regulations.\n\nDrive preparation of annual plans and monthly forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.\n\nReview and advise on pricing models and cost structures in collaboration with the Pricing team.\n\nSupport recurring program and finance review cycles and contribute to resource planning.\n\nRequired Skills:\nA minimum of 5 years of related work experience to include 3+ years of program control OR financial management\n\nIntermediate MS Excel skills to work with large data sets to perform analysis and monthly manual spreadsheet report in support of monthly invoice\n\nAbility to work with multiple support functions (contracts, procurement, accounting, engineering)\n\nGood foundation of accounting principles to include cost collection, revenue recognition, Estimate at Complete (EAC) lifecycle, invoicing, and unbilled reconciliation\n\nDesired Skills:\nDemonstrated capacity for function writing, scripting, programming in any language\n\nKnowledge of Costpoint, SmartView, and COGNOS\n\nExperience in a matrixed organization\n\nFinancial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) experience\n\nExperience generating Annual Operating Plans (AOPs)\n\nWhat You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
