Candidates must be a US citizen and be able to successfully complete and retain a US government security clearance.\nJob Summary:\nWe are looking for candidates with a wealth of experience and expertise capable of tackling multifaceted tasks with ingenuity and innovation. The ideal candidate must have:\n1. US Citizenship\n2. The ability to apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments, effectively leading major technological initiatives.\n3. Responsibilities include evaluating performance results and proposing significant enhancements to facilitate short-term project growth and success, serving as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.\n4. Additionally, the role involves executing formal system testing activities, analyzing user requirements, and contributing to the design of test plans for moderately complex to complex software or IT systems.\n5. Participation in risk management assessment and software/hardware development phases is expected.\n6. The candidate will ensure that the test design and documentation support all applicable clients, agency or industry standards, as well as adhere to timelines, and budgets.\n7. The candidate will also be accountable for ensuring that testing outcomes align with the test results, and that project managers are fully informed of testing status and any application deviations from documented user requirements.\n8. While a minimum of 4 years of experience is required for this role, OPTiMO ideally seeks candidates with 5 to 6 years of relevant experience.\nMinimum Required Skills:\n1. 4 to 6 years of experience with and strong proficiency in testing applications developed using Python programming, SAS Foundation software, Java, GitLab, and SAS Programming.\n2. 4 to 6 years of strong experience in Data Science (Data transformation techniques, identifying data anomalies, and data manipulation).\n3. Experience with and proficiency in Korn shell and Bash shell scripting.\n4. 4 to 6 years of knowledge and experience with UNIX/LINUX Operating System along with strong experience in Linux shell scripting.\n5. 4 to 6 years of experience in testing, debugging, and refining computer software to produce the required product and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.\n6. Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.\nOperational Skills:\n1. Knowledge and experience managing requirements engineering efforts using standard industry-approved tools to resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.\n2. Knowledge and experience developing solutions using standard industry-approved tools used to address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.\n3. Knowledge and experience managing schedules using standard industry-approved tools and able to apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.\n4. Experience analyzing and studying complex systems to evaluate program effectiveness through troubleshooting production problems related to software applications.\n5. Experience analyzing functional business applications and designing specifications based on functional requirements.\n6. Experience in translating detailed design into computer software.\n7. Experience preparing required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation, block diagrams and logic flow charts.\n8. Experience in enhancing software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.\n9. Experience in information system design, including application programming on large-scale and complex software to satisfy design objectives and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.\n10. Work with team leaders on the projects and may instruct, assign, direct, and review the work of others on the team.\n11.
