The successful candidate will have -\n\n5-10 years experience soldering/assembly of surface mount and through-hole components and wiring chassis under a microscope in production environment with knowledge of standard manufacturing tools.\n\nJ-STD-001 Certified, wiring/soldering (S-level a plus) IPC-A-610.\n\nAbility to read and interpret assembly drawings, written instructions, wiring lists and discuss work related issues.\n\nHands-on assembly supervisor working on floor assembling/wiring electronic assemblies as well as supervise personnel within the Assembly group.\n\nEducation and Required Skills\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\n5-10 years’ experience soldering/assembly of surface mount components experience in PCB or electronics assembly, preferably in a Hi-Rel or relative environment\n\nProficiency in soldering to IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards. Certification in IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 is strongly preferred\n\nWorking knowledge of assembling electronic products with good dexterity and able to follow work instructions.\n\nExperience working under Microscope and magnification and with fine-pitch components.\n\nFamiliarity with ESD protection procedures.\n\nAbility to read and understand technical documents and drawings.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.\n\nGood communication skills and ability to work both independently and team environment.\n\nStrong computer and written skills is a plus\n\nDetail-oriented, managing technicians, providing training, and implementing safety and enthusiastic applicants willing to learn a new skill is encouraged to apply.\n\nThis role is 100% onsite\n\nEOE/Disability/Veteran\n\nSalary Range $60K-$80K based on experience\n\nFEI offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, and a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match in company stock.\n\nWe also provide a very generous paid time off policy, along with 11 paid holidays.\n\nIn addition, we operate on a 9/80 work schedule, which gives employees every other Friday off. One week consists of four workdays (36 hours), and the following week includes five workdays (45 hours).
