We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School-Based Social Worker to join our middle school team. This position supports students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success by providing direct services, consultation, and collaboration with school staff and families.
The ideal candidate is student-centered, collaborative, and experienced in working with middle school-aged youth.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling to middle school students
Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students
Conduct social-emotional and behavioral assessments
Develop and implement intervention plans aligned with IEPs and 504 plans
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and outside agencies
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
Qualifications
Required: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
Required: Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Work endorsement
Experience working in a school setting preferred
Experience with middle school students strongly preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
