If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!Desired Skills and Experience:CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtainActive Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (Preferred or willing to obtain) Completed 6 core ECE Units Infant/toddler OR Associates Degree in Child DevelopmentMust be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors Have the ability to engage physically, visually, and compassionately with not only children, but their parents and your peers.Classroom management skills: ability to ensure a safe and engaging environment, All center staff applicants must meet Illinois specific guidelines for the roleResponsibilites:Evaluate student progress with classroom Lead and Co-TeachersPlan curriculum with varying developmental needs with Lead and Co-TeachersTrack academic performance with Lead and Co-TeachersBe mentored by Lead and or Co-Teacher if Co-Teacher is qualified to Lead.Meet with parents to discuss the needs and goals of studentsMeet with Lead and Co-Teachers in the classroom weekly for lesson planning development
