Work will be performed under minimal supervision.\nPrimary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nLead assigned portion of outage scope through planning and execution stage.\nOrganizing materials through expediting, quoting prices, and ensuring the correct parts are available for jobs\nDevelop scope for assigned work orders within the outage, identifying secondary and/or support disciplines required.\nCreate detailed job packages in Cleopatra for each work order utilizing planning templates as applicable. Activities include individual tasks, manpower, durations, and assigned discipline.\nProvide daily schedule updates during outage execution.\nCreate job planning packages for each work order per site guidelines for both internal and external distribution, e.g. bid events, contractor field personnel, etc. Packages may include pictures, P&IDs, BOMs, tools, safe work procedures, applicable standards, QC requirements, etc.\nProvide leadership in risk management, contractor safety, and mitigating safety issues in operations.\nSupport Management of Change processes, recognizing plant changes and following through on all documentation and recommendations in a timely manner.\nMaintaining communication with craftspeople, contractor representatives, and materials suppliers.\nUphold and communicate high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas and on all job sites. Conduct frequent formal housekeeping inspections of plant areas.\nComplete close out and documentation as required by standards and procedures.\nWilling to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours, following strict fatigue management guidelines. Travel may be required as much as 25-35% depending on projects.\nAbility to work without close supervision.\nWorks professionally and harmoniously with co-workers, supervisors, management, support personnel, program participants, and business-related persons.\nUtilizes positive and constructive attitude toward resolution of problems and conflicts.\nAccepts direction, criticism, and supervision.\nDemonstrates ability to remain calm in demanding situations.\nAbility to work within and promote teamwork philosophy.\nMakes good use of time, completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.\nMaintain mindset towards continuous improvement in all areas of the job.\nAbility to demonstrate and perform efficiently and reliably in all categories of this document.\nAble to achieve various State mandated/Federal certifications. Strong leadership abilities.\nUnderstands electrical and instrumentation construction and workflow processes.\nSome bending, climbing, crawling, lifting and shift work will be required.\nAbility to accurately perform other duties as assigned.\nAbility to read and interpret Electrical & Instrumentation drawings and PID’s.\nExperience in preparing and reviewing test / work packages for issuance to the field.\n10+ years’ experience in Electrical & Instrumentation package planning and/or 10+ years of E&I journey-level maintenance experience.\nProficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) SAP, Primavera P6, Adobe.\n10+ years’ experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines, preferably with experience in industrial outages, LV & HV Motors, heaters, power distribution equipment, and general preventative maintenance on various electrical components. Working knowledge of process instrumentation including Flow, Level, Pressure, and Temperature devices.\nUnderstands quality standards as outlined by client\nTravel required up to 25-35% of the year depending on TAR occurrences and assignments.\nAbility to take trips during the Planning Phase to gather information necessary to properly plan work scope defined.\nRequired to be on-site for the duration of the Outage Execution timeframe to coordinate contractors executing planned work scopes, and to ensure Safe Work Practices and QAQC processes are being followed. Timeframes vary but an average outage duration is 30-45 days.\nAll hours outside of the Outage Execution time frame will be worked on a Monday – Friday 5-8’s schedule.
