The organization operates at significant scale and emphasizes research and development to maintain technological leadership.About the Opportunity:The Analyst, Procurement supports multiple programs within the organization’s Supply Chain team by managing procurement activities and supplier relationships. This role facilitates the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while supporting contract, quality, and supplier performance requirements. The position contributes to program success through effective procurement coordination and cross-functional collaboration.Responsibilities:• Conduct procurement and supplier management activities supporting government and commercial contracts.• Place purchase orders involving low- to medium-complexity goods and services.• Perform price analysis, support supplier negotiations, and identify potential supplier risks with appropriate guidance.• Communicate contractual, technical, and quality requirements to suppliers.• Monitor supplier performance and support corrective actions when requirements are not met.• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and other internal teams to fulfill program requirements.• Monitor procurement reports and support performance against established company metrics.• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure compliance with applicable government regulations.• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve procurement issues and maintain program schedules.Requirements:• University degree with up to 12 months of relevant professional experience.• U.S. citizenship required due to contract security requirements.• Experience with Department of Defense procurement processes.• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:• Ability to participate in formal supplier negotiations.• Experience performing price analyses and developing price justifications.• Familiarity with SAP or similar procurement systems.• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Estimated salary range of $52,700–$83,000 annually.• The salary range reflects multiple experience levels, with individual offers based on role responsibilities, experience, location, education, skills, and other relevant factors.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
