Assemble custom equipment using blueprints and a range of hand tools. We are a team that is committed to a tradition of technological leadership and duties and responsibilities include the following.Support and work along PLC Programmer commissioning and testing of new machinery or equipment upgrades;Assemble automation equipment, from simple machines to complete systems;Electrical and mechanical installation of automation components such as laser marking, vision systems, test equipment, VFDs;Provide technical support and training to customers;Work with the Design Department and Controls Department with development, design and implementation, prioritization of work and execution of projects delivered on-time;Read, interpret, and understand electrical schematics and drawings including identifying parts to drawing, symbol recognition and material recognition;Coordinate layout and design of electrical systems;Ability to develop and maintain in-depth and up-to-date technical knowledge;Testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems;Organization skills, i.e. for documents, demos, work area and time management;Possess the ability to multi-task and bring multiple projects to completion;Willing to work weekends and overtime as needed;Must be an active team player to support, accept responsibility and collaborate with the team; have effective skills in interpersonal communication, problem solving, critical thinking, empathy, and building relationships; and use independent judgment, creativity, and up to 20%; same day and overnight; may have occasional international travel.Install and service calls, work with install team setting up systems or machines;Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
