We are searching for people who will bring their experience with insurance systems to help us drive the successful delivery of this high visibility, high impact project.\n\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nProduct scoping, discovery, hands-on technical input and helping translate user features into system design\nWork in an agile team, pair programming and support deliverables in production\nDevelopment of the all the required functions/features on the InsuranceNow platform\nReceive and provide feedback in code reviews\nDo test-driven development to ensure high confidence in any code you develop\nCollaborate within the Scrum Team to understand the requirements and possible implementation options\nHelp develop Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) - Jenkins\nAbility to rapidly absorb new technologies and have the desire to work in a fast-paced environment\n\nQUALIFICATION REQUIRED:\n\n3 to 5 years of experience with Java\nBS in Computer Science or equivalent industry technical skills\nGuidewire InsuranceNow development experience - preferred\nKnowledge of API development\nKnowledge of JavaScript\nXML processing\nRelational Database Experience (Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL, ...)\nVersion control with Git\nClean code practices working within a team environment\nDebugging and Root Cause analysis skills\nKnowledge of P&C Insurance a plus\nGood communication skills\nStrong individual contributor with experience delivering high-quality solutions\nInterest in software / architectural design principles\n\nTECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nIDE - IntelliJ or Eclipse\nJDK - Amazon Corretto\nAPI Testing - Postman\nVersion Control - Git Hub, SourceTree\n\nPreferred Risk Insurance Services provides a competitive benefits package to all full- time employees.
