PSYCHIATRY GERIATRIC PSYCHIATRYEmployment Type: Full-TimeLocation: USA, New JerseyPOSITION SUMMARYThis role supports The Department in providing inpatient psychiatric care within a multidisciplinary behavioral health setting. Responsibilities include managing adult patients on an inpatient behavioral health unit, participating in shared call, and collaborating with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and behavioral health professionals. The position offers involvement in crisis evaluation and treatment of a broad range of psychiatric conditions.QUALIFICATIONS• Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry• Residency training in psychiatry• Eligibility for medical licensure in New Jersey• Ability to provide inpatient psychiatric care• Capacity to work within a multidisciplinary behavioral health environmentCOMPETENCIES• Management of adult psychiatric conditions in an inpatient setting• Collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, and behavioral health staff• Participation in crisis evaluation and shared call rotation• Use of industry standard EMR and clinical documentation tools• Delivery of patient centered psychiatric careWORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENTWork Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Clinic/Private Practice; Outpatient• Multidisciplinary behavioral health team including physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff• Inpatient behavioral health unit with structured patient care workflows• Crisis evaluation in coordination with emergency services• Use of industry standard EMR and diagnostic tools• Outpatient and inpatient integration supporting continuity of care
