The ideal candidate will have experience managing and executing environmental investigation and remediation projects in New Jersey, along with a strong working knowledge of NJDEP regulations and guidance. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, collaborative team on technically challenging and rewarding projects.\n\nThe Role\n\nEvaluate site characterization data to define contaminant distribution, assess potential risks, and develop practical remedial approaches.\n\nConduct and oversee field investigations including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling, drilling oversight, and contractor management.\n\nCollaborate with project managers and technical staff to plan investigations, prepare scopes of work and budgets, and support proposal development.\n\nManage data compilation and interpretation using spreadsheets, databases, and GIS tools.\n\nPrepare clear, technically accurate reports, figures, and other deliverables.\n\nContribute to proposal preparation, project scoping, and budget tracking.\n\nPerform quality assurance/quality control reviews of technical documents.\n\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality, on-time work products and ensure client satisfaction.\n\nWho You Are\n\nBachelor’s degree (or higher) in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.\n\nMinimum of 4 years of relevant experience working on environmental projects in New Jersey.\n\nExtensive knowledge of NJDEP guidance, rules, and regulations.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in technical writing and client correspondence.\n\nExperience with due diligence assessments (Phase I ESAs, NJ Preliminary Assessment Reports) strongly preferred.\n\nLSRP license is a plus, but not required.\n\nProficiency with GIS and/or environmental data management tools is desirable.\n\nWho We Are\nWe are an environmental and geotechnical consulting company that offers cost-effective solutions to complex environmental and engineering challenges.
