Tom Wood Aviation, in Indianapolis, IN is searching for an IntermediateAvionics Technician to become a reliable member of our team at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport. The ideal candidate has a keen attention to detail, high-quality workmanship, and ensures that all work complies with federal aviation regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Pay:$28.00-$32.00 hourlyResponsibilities:Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair more complex avionics issues.Install, calibrate, and configure advanced avionics equipment, including communication, navigations, and flight control systems.Perform software updates and system modifications as required.Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings to perform maintenance tasks.Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company standards, and aircraft maintenance programs.Mentor and provide guidance to Level 1 technicians, promoting skill development.Qualifications:2-5 years of experience in aircraft avionics maintenance.Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex avionics systems independently.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.MUST HAVE-Valid driver's license with clean driving recordBenefits:PTO & VacationPaid HolidaysMedicalDentalVision401k with Company MatchLifeDisabilityTrainingTuition ReimbursementService AwardsCareer AdvancementWisely & DailyPayAbout Tom Wood GroupThe Tom Wood Group is proud to be family-owned and locally operated for over 50 years.
