Enforce all local and New York State vehicular and traffic laws through the issuance of parking summonses. Locate, tag, and record all abandoned and derelict vehicles for impound. Report inoperative and missing meters, as well as defective or damaged signs. QualificationsCompletion of tenth-grade education.Special RequirementsContinuing possession of an appropriate class, valid Driver's License issued by the State of New York may be required and candidates may be required to pass a hearing test.Miscellaneous InformationSatisfactory work experience involving simple record-keeping may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years.
