The company is headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska, co-located with Alaska Aerospace.\nPosition Description: Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, this position assumes responsibility for all phases of project plans from conception through implementation and close-out in designated programs/projects.\nThe Program Manager is responsible for providing management and technical support for project development and implementation including compliance with AAC policy and various federal, state and local regulations as required. This position assists with program and project definition; directs the short- and long-term planning; coordinates and manages resources and activities; controls and monitors project scheduling and implementation; and manages program budget development and adherence. The Program Manager is accountable for managing the program budget and expenditures, program contracts, procurement activities and for maintaining all project records.\nLocation: This position is based in either Anchorage or Kodiak, AK. Work is performed on-site, with occasional work-related travel to customer locations, other operational sites, and business-related locations in support of mission activities and organizational needs.\nPrimary Job Responsibilities:\n1. Coordinate overall process to ensure program activities are executed in accordance with established contract requirements and AAC policies and procedures.\n2. Perform day-to-day program oversight and management including planning schedules and monitoring resources.\n3. Prepare program budgets and oversee administration of budget, including control and monitoring of project related expenditures.\n4. Develop scope of work documents and provide analysis of budgets for consultant(s) and/or subcontracts.\n5. Ensure that all materials and/or services needed for assigned program are delivered as required and/or specified in contractual agreements and review/approve invoices for payment.\n6. Prepare program reports as required and ensure that all reports are highly accurate, comprehensive and well documented to ensure the credibility of the program and AAC.\n7. Maintain open communication with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and updates on project status.\n8. Potential to train launch operations team personnel on a day-to-day basis during launch campaigns to include console operations.\n9. Perform other related duties as assigned.\nRequired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nExcellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office suite.\nAbility to use basic computer systems, including email, digital timekeeping, and other company systems as required.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively across teams.\nbility to exercise sound independent judgement with limited information.\nAbility to multi-task in a very dynamic and complex aerospace environment.\nRequired Education & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered where appropriate.\nA minimum of ten (10) years of progressive business and/or project management experience.\nExperience with all contract types, including fixed-price, T&M, cost reimbursable, GSA schedules, government-wide acquisition contracts, BPAs, and Rapid Response IDIQs, preferred.\nExperience managing DoD and USSF Programs, preferred.\nValid Driver’s License required.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nThis position operates primarily in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and computer use. Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 20 pounds) may be required. Travel to company facilities or operational sites may be required depending on assigned location and organizational needs.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nSupervises assigned staff and provides direction to contractors or cross-functional stakeholders.
