This is a unique opportunity to join a small business delivering core capabilities for National defense. You will work within a fast-paced team delivering end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence. Candidates will develop, implement, and run engineering processes in support of a large Agile software development program. Candidates will provide engineering leadership to development teams including subcontractors and will be responsible for ensuring team work products meet program requirements. SciTec seeks a candidate who will thrive in a collaborative environment where they can solve challenging engineering problems in support of critical national security objectives.\nResponsibilities\nLeadership: Lead and oversee all technical aspects of the OPIR framework system design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.\nArchitect and design systems: Define the end-to-end data processing architecture, from raw data ingestion to product delivery, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.\nEstablish standards: Set technical standards and processes for data handling, quality, and integrity to ensure all system development complies with mission and regulatory requirements.\nTechnical oversight: Support engineering review boards and provide technical direction to ensure the integrity of deliverables and the overall system\nCommunicate with stakeholders: Act as the primary technical interface between the engineering team, program management, senior leadership, and external customers.
