Our inventory and product lineup includes tanks and trailers; roll off equipment; pumps and stimulation equipment; mobile workover rigs; and surface production equipment.Leadership / Supervisory ExpectationsExperience leading QA/QC teams (inspectors, NDE, document control) Ability to assign work, prioritize inspections, and manage workload Mentoring and developing junior inspectors Enforcing quality culture across the shop floorCore Experience (must-have)5+ years QA/QC experience in fabrication environments (pressure vessels, tanks, piping, or structural steel) Hands-on inspection experience in shop fabrication (not just documentation) Direct experience with pressure vessels and/or storage tanks (shop or field) Codes & Standards (critical)Strong working knowledge of: ASME Section VIII (Div 1 preferred) API 650 / API 620 (tanks) API 510 (inspection) is a plus Ability to read and interpret code requirements, not just follow checklists Experience with WPS/PQR review and weld procedure compliance Technical SkillsReading and interpreting fabrication drawings, isometrics, and weld maps Welding inspection knowledge (fit-up, visual inspection, weld profiles, defects) Familiar with NDE methods: RT, UT, MT, PT (hands-on or coordination level) Hydrotest, leak testing, and final QA documentation packages Certifications (preferred but not mandatory)AWS CWI (strongly preferred) API certifications (510, 570, 653) a plus NDE Level II or III is a plus Day-to-Day Responsibilities BackgroundIn-process inspections during fabrication Final inspection and turnover documentation Managing NCRs, punch lists, and corrective actions Working directly with welders, shop supervisors, and project managers Customer/third-party inspector interactionWhat Good Looks Like (soft filters)Has worked in a fast-paced fabrication shop (not just EPC office role) Comfortable on the floor, not just behind a desk Can push back on quality issues without slowing production unnecessarily Detail-oriented but practical (understands schedule pressure)
