Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.\nThe Final Inspector is responsible for inspection of product after processes and at final inspection. This position requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to read and understand technical requirements of the traveler and blueprint.\n\nQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of three (3) years’ in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.\n\nResponsibilities:\nRead, understand, and interpret travelers and drawings provided to assess requirements and special instructions required for jobs.\nInspects product to determine compliance with order specifications and the inspection checklist for conformity to specified standards.\nExperience inspecting Flex-Rigid PWBs.\nRework experience.\nInspects product under magnifying tool for opens and shorts in circuit patterns.\nCompares size and location of holes to verify conformance to specifications.\nViews inside of holes to detect voids or irregular surfaces.\nIdentifies non-conforming product and its disposition.\nStamps mark of approval or rejection on product or traveler.\nLogs job in and out with accurate counts of product.\nRecords yield data and completes scrap report forms.\nStacks finished boards with separator sheets for transfer to next workstation.\nPerform other department or company-related tasks at the direction of the department Supervisor.\n\nEducation/Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nThree (3) year minimum PWB experience.\nExperience completing Quality Documentation.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nEmployee is regularly required to sit throughout the shift.\nEmployee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.\nMust have very good concentration, must be able remain focused with minor interruptions.\n\nCompensation/Benefits: Summit offers a variety of health and benefit programs. Which include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Hospital and Accident plans, Life Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays.
