This role is the single-threaded owner of developing and deploying robotic assembly and other automation solutions across AWS rack fulfillment manufacturing sites. You will analyze the AWS hardware requirements and work with 3rd party Automation suppliers to develop, pilot and scale automation solutions spanning EC2, Machine Learning, and Storage hardware platforms in manufacturing environments. Your work directly enables AWS to increase productivity and quality at these facilities and meet datacenter capacity commitments by ensuring manufacturing infrastructure scales efficiently, reliably, and repeatably across a global site network. Possessing strong leadership, influencing skills, and technical depth are critical elements of success for this role.
