Job Title: Dynamo for Revit Automation Specialist Position SummaryRyan Fireprotection is seeking a highly skilled Revit/Dynamo Automation Specialist to support and enhance the productivity of our growing design team. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Dynamo scripts and Revit-based workflows to support 50+ sprinkler designers and a small group of alarm designers.This individual will serve as a technical expert in design automation, helping streamline repetitive tasks, improve accuracy, and drive innovation across our design processes. Fire protection experience is not required, strong Revit and Dynamo expertise is essential.We have offices in Indianapolis, Noblesville, South Bend, Valparaiso, Milwaukee, Louisville and Cincinnati. This role can sit in any of those locations or be remote.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain Dynamo scripts to automate design workflows within RevitPartner with sprinkler and alarm designers to identify inefficiencies and create scalable solutionsStandardize and optimize Revit families, templates, and project setupsTroubleshoot and resolve Revit/Dynamo-related issues across the design teamProvide ongoing support and training to designers on tools, scripts, and best practicesCollaborate with leadership to improve design processes, productivity, and qualityMaintain documentation for scripts, workflows, and standardsStay current on advancements in Revit, Dynamo, and design automation technologiesQualificationsExpert in Dynamo for RevitStrong proficiency in Dynamo scripting and visual programmingExperience automating workflows and improving efficiency in design environmentsAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical usersStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience supporting large teams or multi-user environments preferredPreferred (Not Required)Experience in MEP, construction, or engineering environmentsFamiliarity with fire protection or alarm system designExperience with APIs, Python, or other programming languages within Dynamo/RevitExposure to BIM standards and coordination processesImpact of the RoleDirectly supports the efficiency and output of 50+ designersReduces manual work and increases consistency across projectsPlays a key role in scaling design operations during high-growth periodsWork EnvironmentFast-paced, high-growth environmentHighly collaborative with design and operations teamsOpportunity to shape and modernize design technology across the organization
