Engage with guests in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.\r\nProvide accurate wait time and monitor waiting lists.\r\nUse knowledge of menu to answer guest questions.\r\nCoordinate with Front of House staff regarding available seating.\r\nSeat guests, ensuring proper server rotation is maintained.\r\nProcess to-go orders quickly and efficiently in the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit, and debit transaction accurately.\r\nMaintain store appearance with respect to merchandising and maintenance standards.\r\nFollow safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with all applicable laws.\r\nResponds appropriately to customer concerns.\r\nEnsures a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked host stand.\r\nAssist servers and food runners, as needed. Must be able to maneuver heavy trays of food.\r\nAbility to take direction and collaborate in a team environment\r\nPerform other duties as assigned.\r\nEducation, Experience, Certifications:\r\nHigh School diploma or GED.\r\nFood and Beverage experience in a full service setting is preferred but not required.\r\nAbility to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.\r\nAbility to work in a high energy and demanding environment.\r\nEffective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.\r\nAble to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers.\r\nPosition Qualifications:\r\nAbility to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment.\r\nExcellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively, in English.\r\nStrong self-motivation, leadership, and organizational skills.\r\nPositive interpersonal skills.\r\nSelf-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.\r\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.\r\nProficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics, in English.\r\nAbility to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances.\r\nStanding for long periods of time and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.\r\nThis position description is merely intended to describe the primary elements of the position.
