In this role, you will provide subject matter expertise on complex foreign electronic systems and emerging technologies, helping to assess capabilities, vulnerabilities, and operational impacts that inform national security decision-making. You will contribute to multidisciplinary analyses involving radio frequency (RF) systems, signal processing, microelectronics, sensors, guidance and control systems, and other advanced electronic technologies.\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities Support defense analytical requirements through scientific and engineering research, technical assessments, and limitation analyses.\nConduct reverse engineering analyses and technical characterizations of foreign electronic systems, subsystems, facilities, and equipment.\nEvaluate system performance, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and operational effectiveness of complex electronic technologies.\nAnalyze electronic hardware, circuits, microelectronics, sensors, and associated subsystems to support intelligence and defense missions.\nPerform assessments of electromagnetic, electro-optical (EO), and infrared (IR) systems and their applications within current and emerging threat environments.\nDevelop technical reports, briefings, and analytical products that communicate findings to government stakeholders and mission partners.\nSupport facility assessments and vulnerability analyses related to foreign electronic systems and infrastructure.\nApply electrical engineering principles across computer, electronic, optical, and power engineering disciplines to solve complex technical challenges.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate current and projected foreign technologies and their potential operational impacts.\nContribute to the development of innovative analytical approaches and methodologies for assessing advanced electronic systems.\nRequired Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nMinimum of 8 years of experience performing electrical engineering analysis, research, design, testing, or assessment activities.\nExperience evaluating electronic systems, subsystems, or components in support of defense, intelligence, research, or engineering missions.\nKnowledge of electrical engineering principles and one or more related disciplines, including computer, electronic, optical, or power engineering.\nExperience producing technical analyses, reports, or engineering assessments for government, defense, or intelligence customers.\nPreferred Qualifications Experience analyzing complex foreign electronic systems, subsystems, facilities, or equipment.\nExperience with microelectronics and advanced electronic hardware technologies.\nExperience supporting reverse engineering, technical exploitation, or system characterization efforts.\nKnowledge of radio frequency (RF) systems, electromagnetic technologies, electro-optical systems, or infrared systems.\nExperience with software development, digital signal processing, and signal detection theory.\nAbility to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nIn compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), if you have a disability and would like to request an accommodation in order to apply for a position with ANSER, please call 703-416-2000 or email Recruiting@anser.org.\nANSER is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
