POSITION DUTIES INCLUDE: Answers phones Schedules appointments Maintains patient medical records Submits medical referral forms Patient communication - reports test/lab results via phone/mail Types Doctor's Letters and Memos Places patients and patient paperwork into clean, prepared exam room when scheduled for a provider visit Performs routine orthostatic blood pressures, temperatures, height, and weight for all patients prior to provider visit or as requested by medical provider Maintains supply inventory Performs any and all such duties that are within the scope of this individual’s certifications that are requested by the medical provider KCS MISSION STATEMENT To provide client centered, culturally inclusive, expert care to directly improve the well-being of underserved communities and individuals through healthcare, social services, and community programs. The Clinics provide primary care, dental care, complimentary medicine, psychiatry, and medication assisted treatment. The Community Services Division addresses social determinants of health. The Counseling Division provides mental health and criminal justice programs. A team of providers and clinicians, support staff, social workers, community outreach and patient navigators, immigrations rights advocates, counselors, program coordinators, health educators and recovery specialists work together towards KCS’ mission.
