Job Description Description:Kenly 95 Petro TA Service Center – On-Site PositionKenly 95 Petro TA Service Center is hiring a dependable, hands-on Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician to join our high-volume, fast-paced truck service center. If you have experience in diesel repair, preventative maintenance (PM), tire services, or commercial truck maintenance , we want to hear from you.Our shop services heavy-duty diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and commercial equipment daily. This is a great opportunity for experienced diesel mechanics or entry-level technicians looking to grow their career in a stable, nationally recognized travel center environment.Requirements:Schedule Requirements Weekends requiredMust be 18 years or olderOn-site position (not remote)Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance (PM services) on heavy-duty diesel trucksComplete oil changes, lube services, and fluid checksInspect, remove, replace, balance, and align commercial truck tiresConduct multi-point inspections on diesel engines and fleet vehiclesCheck and maintain coolant, brake, transmission, and engine fluid levelsAccurately document service findings and repair recommendationsOperate shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools safelyMaintain a clean, organized, OSHA-compliant service bayFollow all company safety procedures and industry standardsProvide professional customer service when interacting with drivers and fleet customersQualifications Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Technician, Lube Technician, or Tire Technician preferredExperience in heavy-duty truck repair, fleet maintenance, or commercial vehicle service is a plusBasic mechanical knowledge and ability to use diagnostic and repair toolsAbility to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periodsComfortable working in a fast-paced truck shop environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipDependable, safety-focused, and team-orientedAbility to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screeningCompensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay + bonus potentialHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holiday payEmployee discountsCareer advancement opportunities within a nationally recognized travel centerOur Company is family-owned and operated since 1964!
