Electrical Engineer ProfessionalLocation: REMOTEPay Range: $57.00 - $90.00 per hourBenefits: Standard Medical, Dental, 401(k)DESCRIPTIONAs an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group, you'll contribute to projects that enable the heart of our clients' successful data center facilities engineering, design and construction. In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects including engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. This position is location flexible in the U.S.Provide design work, contribute to team technical collaboration, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with other portions of the design process.May also interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site.Work closely with the broader multi-discipline team in a fast paced, dynamic, collaborative environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities.Design may also include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate our clients' continually evolving requirements.Additional responsibilities may include the management of quality, scope, budget and schedule.This position is remote, and is not required to go into an office. However, the client has offices throughout the US, and would welcome anyone who prefers to work in an office also.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum of 6 years' experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution including conveyanceProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredExtensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility designWorking knowledge of Revit or BIM softwareSolid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)Effective verbal and written communication skillsGood computer literacyWillingness to learn and embrace new challengesAbility to lead a team of Electrical EngineersExperience with Data Center or AI Factory projectsIdeally, you'll also have: At least 3 years of data center facility design experienceExperience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sitesWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other legally protected status.
