Tasting Room Associate and Food Server

Tasting Room Sales Associate Tasting Room Associates serve as the first point of contact for guests visiting Aurora Vineyards and Winery. They are ambassadors of the Aurora Vineyards brand and are expected to embody the customer service ideals of Aurora Vineyards and Winery. Duties and responsibilities Welcome all Aurora Vineyards guests with a smile and provide exceptional customer service; Educate customers regarding Aurora wines, our history and our facility; Share our wonderful wine club membership and it’s perks with all Aurora Vineyards guests; Handle purchases using the POS system, reservations, and provide retail‐related guidance to customers; Help with special winery events as needed and on site venue events; Conduct numerous other duties associated with a fast‐paced restaurant and retail environment. Additional duties Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety; Checking stock levels and requesting supplies as needed; Preparing cash drawers for daily sales. Minimum requirements The ideal candidate will be extremely customer service oriented, with previous experience either in sales or the service industry a plus. Aurora Vineyards is a service‐oriented establishment and exceptional customer service, detail oriented skills and multi‐tasking in a fast‐paced work environment is an absolute necessity. Additional requirements A valid drivers’ license and the ability to transport yourself to and from work location(s); Ability to lift 50 pounds; Must be 21 Must Complete or have an OLCC Liquor license to pour and serve wine within 30 days of employment is required And completing the Oregon Food Handler’s card within 30 days of employment is required Other combinations of education and experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job will also be considered. Tasting Room Associates will be expected to work 3-4 days per week. The schedule is flexible but does require weekend and evening work. This is a full‐time seasonal position with wine and retail discounts. Tasting Room Associates receive an hourly wage based on experience, plus tips. This position will remain open until filled.
