INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Description MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm $24.47 per hour ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSPerform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.Repair, replace, and adjust components such as drive systems, clutches, motors, and related equipment.Perform welding, cutting, brazing, and basic fabrication as needed to support maintenance activities.Conduct maintenance and repairs on industrial vehicles and mobile equipment, including forklifts and utility vehicles.Utilize testing and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.Safely operate lifting equipment, including cranes, man lifts, and other material-handling devices.Accurately document maintenance work performed, parts used, and labor hours.Respond to equipment breakdowns and occasional after-hours maintenance needs to support production operations.Follow all safety procedures and promptly report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns.Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTSMust be able to use tire-changing equipment and toolsAbility to troubleshoot DC voltagesRead and write clearlyIs always diligent to work safely, and to follow safe working practices, including Lockout/Tag Out procedures and other safety proceduresBasic shop math. Multiplication, division, decimals to fractions, fractions to decimals.Obtain forklift and crane equipment certification companies program HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL ALSO POSSESS THESE QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.Strong understanding of diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, and related components.Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems.Industrial maintenance or mechanic background in a manufacturing environment.Skilled in working with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.Comfortable using computer applications, including PLC software, Windows-based programs, and maintenance systems. #psbrenham
