They support the Front Office Manager as needed by resolving guest complaints, training staff and maintaining operational standards.\n\nJob Summary\n\nOversee daily front office operations, ensuring prompt, courteous, and efficient service\n\nMaintain a high level of guest service by providing support to Front Office and Guest Services teams\n\nAssist Front Office Manager in all administrative tasks as assigned\n\nEnsure all staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions\n\nEnsure guests receive prompt, professional attention and are greeted upon arrival\n\nRespond appropriately to guest complaints\n\nImplement appropriate service recovery gestures to ensure total guest satisfaction\n\nCommunicate to staff any VIP or special needs or requests and follow up on execution\n\nCommunicate and assist in achieving departmental guest satisfaction, revenue and profit goals and objectives\n\nEnsure procedures are followed for security of monies, credit and financial transactions, and guest security\n\nThroughout shift conduct routine inspections of the front office and public areas to ensure the appearance of such areas reflects highly on the hotel, brand, and Company\n\nPromote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments\n\nWill serve as manager on duty as required\n\nEssential Functions Of The Job\n\nAbility to remain standing for up to 10 hours\n\nAbility to remain stationary in desk/meeting environment for up to 8 hours\n\nAbility to move up and down stairs occasionally\n\nAbility to move quickly based on guest needs\n\nAbility to communicate and exchange information effectively\n\nAbility to complete a satisfactory background check\n\nAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as occasional overnights as business requires\n\nTechnology And Equipment Used\n\nMicrosoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel programs.\n\nProperty Management software (Opera)\n\nPhone\n\nComputer and Printer/Copier/Scanner\n\nWorking Environment\n\nWork will primarily take place in a hotel resort environment\n\nKey Skills & Experience Required\n\n2+ years of experience in a hotel/resort front office or similar setting\n\nStrong working knowledge of hotel PMS software, Opera preferred\n\nStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail\n\nExcellent customer service and communications skills\n\nFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as occasional overnights as business requires\n\nMust know how to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely fashion\n\nAbility to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused while maintaining hospitality\n\nNo Job Description for a position can possibly include all duties which may be requested by guests or required by the hotel.
