Creating a world where we all have more time with the people we love.\n\nThe Opportunity:\nAs a Program Manager within Roche, you will lead complex, enterprise-wide programs that drive major organizational changes, including infrastructure transformation, new operating models, and strategic initiatives beyond standard product launches. You will be the architect and orchestrator of program execution, responsible for building the frameworks, processes, and governance that enable successful delivery across multiple interdependent projects.\nIn this role, you'll partner closely with Project Leaders and core program teams to define strategy, align execution, manage resources and budgets, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. You will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, fostering collaboration across project teams, functions, and external stakeholders while driving continuous improvement and organizational learning. Your success will be measured by program delivery excellence, team performance, and measurable business outcomes.\n\nKey Roles& Responsibilities:\n\nCollaborate with Project Leaders and core team to define program structure, strategy, and alignment across all subprojects; build infrastructure and processes that enable execution and launch\nOwn integrated project plans for complex initiatives, including dependencies, resources, budgets, and timelines; manage coordination across multiple external dependencies\nLead, motivate, and organize the project team to execute strategy aligned with organizational goals; establish clear objectives, OKRs, and accountability mechanisms\nPartner with Project Managers across projects to ensure best practices, program-aligned ways of working, and continuous improvement\nProvide coaching, training, and constructive feedback to support team development; foster a culture of learning by sharing best practices across the program\nAct as a strategic partner in program-level communications, fostering alignment and knowledge sharing between project teams, functions, and stakeholders\nDrive positive team dynamics and encourage creative ideas; constructively challenge the status quo to achieve ambitious milestones with agility\nAlign with Project Managers and PMC Network Lead on resourcing, budgets, and timelines; lead monthly budget reviews and communicate results to leadership\nIdentify, document, and manage key program risks; develop and implement proactive de-risking strategies\nEstablish and measure KPIs, OKRs, and key results to enable teams to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness\nWho You Are:\n\nBachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or relevant field\n8+ years of project management experience, with demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional programs\nTrack record of delivering programs on time and within budget\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nAdvanced degree (MS, PhD, or MBA)\n6–8+ years of experience in the Medical Diagnostics or life sciences industry\nExperience managing programs with multiple interdependent projects and external stakeholder dependencies\nLocation: Pleasanton, CA | Santa Clara, CA | San Diego, CA\nRelocation benefits are not available for this job posting.\n\nThe expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Santa Clara, CA is $177,500- $412,000.
