As a Lead Software Engineer, ServiceNow, you would be responsible for leading the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions with the deep expertise in Now Assist and Agentic AI implementation within the ServiceNow Platform.This role requires a hands-on who combines deep platform expertise, AI-driven automation, and integration architecture to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned ServiceNow solutions. You will be a key technical authority driving the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions across our enterprise ServiceNow environment.Responsibilities include working closely with the product management team to ensure we deliver the best user experiences.Your Responsibilities on the TeamOwn the end-to-end ServiceNow architecture across Now Assist capabilities related to Platform, ITSM and HRSD.Design scalable, upgrade-safe solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices and enterprise standards.Lead technical design reviews and architecture governanceIntegrate ServiceNow with large language models and third-party AI services.Define and govern AI skill configurations, virtual agent flows.Ensure data security, role-based access, and complianceMonitor AI feature performance, fine tune agentic workflows and drive adoption metrics across business unitsArchitect Agentic AI workflows to enable autonomous or semi-autonomous task executionIdentify opportunities where AI meaningfully reduces manual effort and improves service outcomesAct as a trusted advisor to Business leaders, product owners & enterprise architectInfluence roadmap planning, platform strategy, and prioritization decisionsPromotes a supportive and collaborative teamwork environment across diverse groupsEvaluates interdependencies; thinks critically / systemically when solving problemsYour ToolboxCore Platform Skills Advanced ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts)Flow Designer and advanced workflow orchestrationPlatform SecuritySpecialized Expertise Now Assist ITSM and HRSDNext ExperienceAI Agent Studio & AI Control TowerProcess Automation DesignerIntegration Hub and enterprise integrationsEducation and Experience Requirements 8+ years of overall IT experience6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and architecture experienceProven experience leading complex, enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementationsStrong understanding of service management, business workflows, and enterprise systemsExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsPhysical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
