This role analyzes business objectives and user requirements, identifies alternative solutions, evaluates system capabilities, and helps improve or automate existing processes through data engineering and governance activities.The selected candidate will rely on experience and judgment to independently perform complex work related to data quality, master data, reference data, and Informatica-based solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand business objectives and problems, and identify alternative solutions.Analyze user requirements, procedures, and system issues to improve processing or automate workflows.Confer with organizational personnel to determine data input, summary, and reporting requirements.Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and required system changes.Review system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility.Support Data Engineering and Data Governance activities in SHARP.Establish master data and reference data for large organizations.Implement data quality rules using Informatica DQ.Work with enterprise data sets and support data governance processes.Develop or modify solutions using Informatica tools and related technologies.Support automation and API interaction through Python scripts, where applicable.Required Qualifications10 years: Experience using Informatica tools, including PowerCenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, and Entity360.10 years: Experience establishing master data and reference data for large organizations; Informatica MDM preferred.10 years: Experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ.Preferred Qualifications4 years: Experience working with enterprise-scale data sets in Snowflake.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field; equivalent experience may substitute.Master’s degree or 6+ years of experience preferred.2 years: Experience in healthcare or public health.2 years: Experience at a state agency.2 years: Experience with Python scripts for automation and API interaction.Work Schedule and LocationNormal business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding state holidays.Primary work location: 701 W 51st Street, Austin, TX 78751.Position is telework/hybrid, with a schedule of 3 onsite days and 2 remote days.Onsite days: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.Remote days: Monday and Wednesday.Local Austin-area candidates only; must already reside in Texas.Travel, per diem, parking, and living expenses are the responsibility of the worker/vendor.Overtime or work outside normal hours may be required with prior approval.Contract DetailsStart date: September 1, 2026.End date: August 31, 2027.Total hours: Not to exceed 2,008 hours.Interviews: Microsoft Teams.Work products are considered works made for hire and remain the property of the agency.Background checks may be required as authorized by Texas law.No fees will be paid for interviews or discussions during selection.PriceSenz is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
