Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\r\nWhat You Will Do\r\nManage and optimize the server infrastructure in a heterogeneous information system.\r\nProvide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.\r\nLead a team of System Administrators to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT systems and applications within their assigned section.\r\nProvide leadership to support a varied range of administrative tasking, to include corrective/preventive maintenance, recurring operations functions, account management, and system optimization.\r\nGuide administrators whose duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.\r\nWork with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned\r\nParticipate in Change Request reviews, to include participating in Change Management boards at multiple program levels.\r\nCoordinate technical and process document reviews and resolve system administration, engineering, and integration issues\r\nLead and participate in technical meetings with team members and other program personnel, representing the organization in functional area matters.\r\nMust be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.\r\nSystems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.\r\nTravel is required to other US Domestic locations as business needs dictate.
