Other related duties as assigned.\nEssential Job Functions:\nSupport a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible\nMeasures and marks pipe for cutting and threading according to specifications\nCuts pipe, using saws, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine\nThreads pipe, using pipe threading machine\nAssembles and installs a variety of metal and non-metal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron,\nsteel, copper, and plastic\nConnects pipes, using threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints, and hand tools\nSecures piping to structures with brackets, clamps, and hangers, using hand and power tools\nInstall insulation in various product types, utilizing a respiratory protection as required.\nSupport Manufacturing Engineering on improvement projects\nSupport the efforts of Lean and Continuous Improvement teams\nAdhere to company policies, procedures, and rules.\nCreate and maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.\nMaintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.\nFlexibility to work hours necessary to meet plant requirement\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma, equivalent, or two (2) years work experience.\nRequires a minimum of one year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment\nBasic understanding of hand and power tools and proper use\nAbility to read and use tape measure accuracy\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.\nNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of facility location will be considered.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBlue print reading and knowledge\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
