This role is a great introduction to Backroads, as tasks will be varied and touch many different areas of our internal systems and processes. You will work on projects with stakeholders across most areas of the business, including Supplier Ops, Data Quality, Yield Operations, Hotels, and Sales and Marketing.\nThe TD Assistant will assist with a variety of projects for the Trip Development department, with emphasis on general administrative needs and executive support.\nMajor Duties & Responsibilities:\nMonitor shared inboxes and Teams channels and send communications on behalf of the department with direction\nSupport TD Director with departmental tasks as needed (i.e. email, calendaring, PPTs, reports, meetings and materials)\nEnsure all trip content inputs are accurate and complete to meet stakeholder deadlines\nWork cross-functionally to support multiple stakeholders and teams on new trip development, go-to-market and related projects\nAdditional project work and audits as needed\nGet stuff done! Work closely with the entire Trip Development team to make sure our operations are functioning like a finely tuned machine at all times, regardless of the task required\nKnowledge and Abilities:\nStrong skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams.\nProficiency with Excel required, or aptitude to become proficient quickly.\nExperience with Jira project management preferred, or eager to become proficient quickly.\nOrganization and process-orientation.\nVery strong attention to detail and follow-through, with a track record of completing tasks in a timely manner with accuracy, thoughtfulness, and thoroughness.\nStrong Communicator. Clear, concise, and professional communication to stakeholders.\nEfficient and organized time-manager. You can juggle tasks and handle the pressure of meeting multiple, and sometimes competing deadlines.\nQuick learner. You pride yourself as someone who can develop a thorough understanding of Backroads, that requires you to be conversant in our systems, guidelines, and terminology.\nProven ability to work independently and with a team.
