This role will focus on building and enhancing communication-related components in the CURAM Social Program Management (SPM) framework, including correspondence templates, interactive forms, and document generation logic. The developer will work closely with business analysts, senior engineers, and QA teams to ensure all notices, reports and system outputs meet policy, legislative, and technical standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPerform UML modeling and XML configuration as part of overall solution design.\nDesign, modify, and enhance XML/XSL-based content for notices, forms, data transformations, and system-generated outputs.\nDevelop SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures to support application functionality, reporting needs, and data validation tasks.\nConduct unit testing and participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality, reliable deliverables.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data structures and understand business requirements.\nApply best practices to ensure code quality, system performance, and maintainability.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to XML document generation, rendering pipelines, and data processing components.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nMinimum 2 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) development\nStrong proficiency in Java, XML, XSD, XSLT, XSL-FO, and SQL.\nExperience with Oracle, Oracle Utilities, Altova tools (StyleVision, XMLSpy), Apache FOP, SQL scripting, and relational database modeling.\nHands-on experience using Eclipse, relational databases (Oracle), and version control systems.\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies.\nCúram experience is a plus but not mandatory.\n\nSkill Matrix:\n\nExperience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development Required 2 Years\nExperience coding using Java/J2EE Required 2 Years\nExperience developing and testing using junits and jomockits Required 2 Years\nExperience with executing SQL to validate or test. Required 2 Years\nExperience in XML, XSD, XSLT, XSL-FO Required 2 Years\nExperience with Oracle, Oracle Utilities, Apache FOP, SQL scripting, and relational database modeling. Required 2 Years\nUnderstanding of Medicaid Program Policy guidelines Nice to have 2 Years\nGood oral and written communications skills in order to interact on a daily basis with system developers, business analysts, and others. Required\nAbility to prioritize tasks within the project and work with minimal supervision or guidance. Required\nAbility to work in a rapidly changing environment. Required\nExperience navigating on a UNIX platform.
