Bilingual Immigration Paralegal

Requirements: • Bilingual in Spanish/English • Must live in or around the Atlanta, GA area ****We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Bilingual Immigration Paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment while providing exceptional client service. You'll draft legal documents such as affidavits, prepare briefs, conduct legal research for trial preparation, and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. This role supports attorneys and clients through various employment-based and/or family-based immigration matters from intake through filing and case completion. Responsibilities: • Help lawyers prepare for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions, conducting research on legal articles, and organizing and coordinating witnesses • Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications with USCIS, DOS, EOIR, and other government agencies • Draft forms, support letters, cover letters, affidavits, and legal packets • Communicate with clients regarding case progress, document collection, and deadlines • Maintain accurate case records and deadlines within the firm's case management system • Translate and interpret for Spanish-speaking clients as needed • Coordinate with attorneys, case managers, and administrative staff to ensure efficient workflow • Review supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy • Respond to client inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and urgency • Assist with RFEs, NOIDs, and other case-related follow-up requests Qualifications: • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills • Fluency in English and Spanish required • Must live in or around the Atlanta, GA area • Minimum 1-2 years of law experience preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment • Experience with case management software preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Compensation: $43,000 - $69,000 yearly• Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications with USCIS, DOS, EOIR, and other government agencies • Draft forms, support letters, cover letters, affidavits, and legal packets • Communicate with clients regarding case progress, document collection, and deadlines • Maintain accurate case records and deadlines within the firm's case management system • Translate and interpret for Spanish-speaking clients as needed • Coordinate with attorneys, case managers, and administrative staff to ensure efficient workflow • Review supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy • Respond to client inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and urgency • Assist with RFEs, NOIDs, and other case-related follow-up requestsCompensation:$43,000-$69,000 per year
