{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"deedff57cd2cd33b602ea162","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/deedff57cd2cd33b602ea162","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/deedff57cd2cd33b602ea162","title":"Manufacturing Lab Technician","description":"Job Title: Lab Technician\nLocation: Rocklin, CA\n2 shifts available:\nAM shift: 6:30am - 2:00pm\nPM Shift: 1:30pm - 10:00pm\nPay Rate: 1st Shift: $22/hr.\nPay Rate: 2nd shift: $23.54/hr.\nContract position 1 year , possibly longer\nJob Description:\nThe Lab Tech participates in entry-level lab production duties, such as filling antibodies, labeling, packaging, shipping and other duties as assigned\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nFilling Antibodies\no Maintains the filling area stock and cleanliness as needed for continuous use.\no Practices sterile techniques during the use of equipment specific to filling tasks.\no Utilizes micropipettes, repeater pipettes, and pump systems to extract and dispense solutions into appropriate container, according to standard operating procedures.\n• Labeling:\no Assembles and washes dispensers used for product filling.\no Prints and applies product labels based on a production plan.\n• Packaging:\no Packages products using standardized techniques and practices.\no Stocks area inventories as necessary.\n• Shipping:\no Processes and packages orders internally using associated computer programs, equipment, and documentation.\no Pulls products for shipment based on picking sheets.\no Facilitates and maintains communication with production department and the customer service department to ensure that all orders are shipped as needed.\no Packs product for shipping based on company standards.\no Stocks products as necessary.\no Maintains organization and cleanliness of the shipping and receiving area.\no Signs for shipments to the company\no Interacts with the customer service staff to complete special order requirements.\nMinimum Education and/or Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent education required.\nMinimum of 1 year production experience required.\nExperience working in an FDA or other regulated industry preferred.\nLean manufacturing experience preferred.\nShipping experience preferred.\nSkills:\nWritten Communication: Writes clearly and informatively.\nOral Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification.\nMathematical: Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide three digit numbers.\nRead/Analyze/Interpret: Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and e-mails.\nWrite: Able to write simple correspondence and e-mails.\nSpeak: Able to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and small group situations of employees of the organization.\nComputer Skills: Experience with emails and calendaring required.
