We are currently seeking a skilled Boat Finisher to join our team and contribute to the final stages of boat production, ensuring impeccable finishing touches on each vessel.\r\nTo facilitate the safe and efficient flow of materials and product throughout the facility, supporting production and company goals.\r\nPrimary Areas of Responsibilities:\r\nReceiving\r\nPut away\r\nStorage\r\nPicking\r\nKitting\r\nLine Feeding\r\nCycle Counting\r\nLabeling\r\nTransporting\r\nPacking and palletizing\r\nFollowing processes and procedures established by leadership\r\nRecording of materials transactions either manually, electronically or in the ERP system\r\nEnsuring of material proper handling and storing in the proper locations\r\nMaintaining accurate inventory records\r\nFollowing 5S principles on a daily basis\r\nEfficiently and safely using and maintaining in good conditions material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc)\r\nEnsure timely delivery of goods and material to production and any other departments\r\nPerforming a daily cleaning of working area\r\nRespecting organizational values\r\nSupport implementation and development of ERP\r\nExecuting tasks in a timely manner\r\nSupport shipping preparation as needed\r\nSuccess Indicators:\r\nSupporting inventory accuracy and elimination of production shortages and items out of stock by performing duties as instructed\r\nEnsure materials and supplies are delivered to production on time, per process\r\nResponsible and committedshowing up on time, not leaving early, no absenteeism\r\nWinning attitude, respectful with peers, colleagues and leadership\r\nGood communication with all the organization\r\nAble to cope with challenges\r\nEffective computer skills related to the role\r\nRequired Experience & Education:\r\nProven experience as material handler\r\nWorking knowledge of MS Word and Excel, ERP experience desired\r\nUnderstanding of best manufacturing practices\r\nDesired Experience & Education:\r\nMarine, automotive or aerospace background desirable\r\nAdditional qualifications in Warehousing\r\nStart up / green field projects experience\r\nOther Traits:\r\nTeam player, engaged and committed\r\nDetail oriented, hands-on mentality\r\nYellowfin Yachts is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
