System development can include algorithm design, data analysis, hardware control, computational optimization, RF system modeling, field testing, error budget analysis, operational performance analysis, writing efficient software, testing with real data, and providing applications to front-line customer facilities. A key responsibility is staying up-to-date with the signal processing technologies, tools, and methodologies and experimenting with new technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into RRC projects. RRC personnel can expect to work across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration and test, deployment and O&M, and experience the direct mission feedback from the customer and seeing your project provide real-world contributions that make a significant difference. You're encouraged and expected to propose things that you believe will improve the applications and frameworks you're working in. The ability to work unsupervised with minimal direction and the ability to self-start is a must.\n\nWhat required background will make you successful?\n\nDegree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or other equivalent field\n\nStrong background in DSP, including knowledge of DSP theory as well as practical system development experience\n\nProficient in C++ and/or Python in LINUX environments\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance\n\nUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED\n\nPreferred skills\n\nAt least 3 years' experience in a signal processing engineering-related discipline\n\nCellular communications, satellite communications, modern modulation schemes, cyclostationary techniques\n\nGeolocation, radar signal processing, RF propagation and link budgets, RF system design\n\nDevOps and Cloud computing Experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PІР)\n\nCurrent TS/SCI clearance\n\nWhere is the position located?\n\nThis position is located at our Chantilly, VA office.\n\nThe likely salary range for this position is $98,000 to $110,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
