In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 12 years of related experience is required.\nExpert proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).\nStrong SQL skills and extensive experience with relational databases and complex queries.\nExtensive experience with extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, data integration, and data warehousing.\nDeep understanding of Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing concepts.\nAdvanced experience with reporting tools (Power BI).\nSolid SQL skills and the ability to write complex, highly-optimized queries.\nAbility to obtain and maintain US Secret Security Clearanc e\n\nQualifications We Prefer:\n\nMaster’s degree in a related field.\nExperience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.\nCertification in BI tools or data analytics.\nKnowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).\nSignificant experience with Business Intelligence tools (one or more of the following: Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, qlikview, TIBCO Spotfire, SAP Business Objects, SAP Crystal Reports).\nAdvanced Power BI Skills:\nData Model design: familiarity with OLAP and Tabular model design principles.\nLanguages: Advanced DAX, Power Query (M).\nDashboard development, Workspace management, role-level security control.\nSkills in other MS SQL Server technologies – SSIS, SSAS, Stored Procedures.\nKnowledge of Python, Scala, PySpark, R or other languages is a plus.\nData profiling skills.\nKnowledge of multiple development methodologies, preferably Agile.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.\n\nEssential Functions:\n\nAbility to work on a computer for extended periods.\nFrequent communication with team members and stakeholders.\nAbility to work in an office or hybrid environment.\nOccasional travel may be required.\nMust be able to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to junior BI developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the BI team.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and deliver high-quality BI solutions.\nFoster strong collaboration with other departments, including IT, operations, and compliance, to ensure BI solutions are integrated seamlessly and support the broader organizational objectives.\n\nThis posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.\n\nEstimated Starting Salary Range: $124,771.42 - $171,560.71.
