Operators will be responsible for loading raw materials, monitoring equipment, inspecting finished products, stacking and packaging materials, and performing basic preventive maintenance.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for someone with previous machine operating or manufacturing experience who wants a consistent schedule, opportunities to cross-train, scheduled wage growth, and the stability of a large organization.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nSet up, operate, and monitor high-speed automated manufacturing equipment.\nLoad rolls or spools of raw material into production machinery.\nMonitor the winding and converting process to ensure equipment is operating properly.\nRemove, stack, package, and organize finished products.\nPerform visual inspections and dimensional checks to verify product quality.\nUse calipers, tape measures, and other basic measuring devices to ensure products meet specifications.\nIdentify and correct minor equipment issues to minimize production downtime.\nPerform basic preventive maintenance, including cleaning equipment, lubricating components, clearing material jams, and addressing minor roller or bearing issues.\nMake basic machine adjustments as necessary to maintain production and quality standards.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area.\nAccurately complete required production and quality documentation.\nFollow all plant safety, quality, and operating procedures.\nCross-train on additional equipment and production processes as needed.\nWhat We're Looking For\n6+ months of manufacturing, production, or machine operating experience preferred.\nExperience operating high-speed or high-volume manufacturing equipment is strongly preferred.\nMechanical aptitude and willingness to troubleshoot basic machine issues.\nExperience performing basic preventive maintenance on production equipment is a plus.\nComfortable using basic hand tools and measuring equipment such as calipers and tape measures.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.\nWillingness to learn new equipment and cross-train in different areas.\nDependable attendance and ability to work a consistent schedule.\nAbility to remain on your feet throughout the shift and perform repetitive physical activities including walking, lifting, twisting, bending, and stacking materials.\nIdeal Experience\n\nCandidates from a variety of manufacturing backgrounds may be successful in this position, including:\n\nPaper, packaging, or corrugated manufacturing\nRoll forming or metal processing\nAutomotive manufacturing\nPlastics manufacturing\nFood and beverage production\nMedical device manufacturing\nPharmaceutical manufacturing\nHigh-speed converting or automated production environments\n\nDirect winding experience is not required.
