Apply via Dice today!ResponsibilitiesProject ExecutionThe senior ETL developer should be able to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Ensure timely and high-quality execution of data projects.Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.Develop and optimize data models for analytics and reporting.Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to corporate standards.Collaboration & AdvisoryPartner with data operation engineer, system analysts, and data architect to design scalable data solutions.Provide guidance on best practices for data architecture, storage, and processing.Contribute to documentation, standards, and knowledge sharing across the team.Required QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in ETL developmentExperience managing offshore or distributed teams is strongly preferredStrong proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., DBT, Talend, Matillion, Informatica, custom Python scripts)Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Redshift)Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control (e.g., Git)Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data modelingStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issuesExcellent communication skills to manage cross-functional and cross-cultural teamsAdditional SkillsKnowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automationFamiliarity with monitoring toolsExperience working in Agile or DevOps environments
