The company headquarters is located in Frederick Maryland, USA.\nWe are seeking a Process Development Associate to join our R&D team in Frederick, MD. Qualified individuals will execute small-scale downstream process development and analytical studies. The ideal candidate will exercise appropriate technical judgment in the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments. The candidate will receive general instructions from a supervisor for routine work and assignments. The candidate is expected to be eager to learn, highly productive, well organized, and self-motivated.\nEssential Job Functions:\n· Conduct experiments in protein recovery and purification process development using column chromatography and various other technologies.\n· Conduct routine biological product handling, and physical and biochemical analysis, such as HPLC, SDS-PAGE, UF/DF, Western Blot, and ELISA.\n· Work with Discovery, Upstream Process Development, and Analytical Development to provide support in material generation and analysis.\n· Generate and maintain experimental data in a highly organized manner. Prepare technical reports.\nMinimum Requirements:\n· Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in biological science, biochemistry, bioengineering, or related fields.\n· 0-3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology field.\n· A good understanding of recombinant protein structure and purification mechanisms.\n· Basic knowledge in protein chemistry and analytical methods\n· Basic computer software skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\n· Ability to work effectively in a team.
