This position is responsible for ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and safe production while meeting quality and performance metrics. The Depot Manager will collaborate with key business functions—including finance, sales, operations, and service to drive operational excellence, implement Lean manufacturing principles, and optimize throughput.\n\nEssential Duties:\n\nDirect and lead depot employees, ensuring operational success across key metrics: Safety, Quality, Cost, Inventory, and Engagement.\n\nLead and coordinate manufacturing operations, applying Lean principles to enhance efficiency.\n\nOversee depot expenses and budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and cost optimization.\n\nOversee daily facility operations to ensure quality output and customer satisfaction.\n\nContinuously assess and implement improvements in safety, quality, and operational throughput.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance depot performance and implement best practices.\n\nAnalyze long-term volume trends and align facility capacity to meet production demands.\n\nPrepare and communicate operational performance reports to provide insights to leadership and employees.\n\nDrive strategic initiatives, ensuring effective deployment of tools, processes, and personnel.\n\nManage projects, including coordinating resources, change management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.\n\nFoster cross-functional communication to optimize planning and cost containment.\n\nEnforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and regulatory training requirements.\n\nCommunicate and Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nTeam Development & Leadership:\n\nCommunicate and Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nRecruit, Train, Mentor, develop, and enhance the skills of depot staff to foster a culture of excellence.\n\nEnsure effective training programs are in place to support employee growth and compliance with safety regulations.Promote a positive work environment that encourages engagement, accountability, and high performance.Drive and champion employee morale as a key performance metric to minimize employee turnover and absenteeism.\n\nQualifications & Experience:\n\nFour-year degree required\n\nMinimum of 4 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.\n\nProven track record of successfully leading teams and optimizing operations.\n\nIn-depth understanding of manufacturing equipment, operational processes, and best practices.\n\nExperience with KPI development and performance tracking.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).\n\nLean process improvement experience is a plus.\n\nSkills & Competencies:\n\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).\n\nExcellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports and present to senior leadership.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise software systems.\n\nDemonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.\n\nPersonal Attributes:\n\nExceptional leadership presence with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels.\n\nCommitment to PECO’s Core Values: Safety, Integrity, Trust, and Excellence.\n\nStrong sense of accountability for results and deliverables\n\nHigh energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.\n\nData-driven, process-oriented, and results-focused mindset.\n\nPECO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
