The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. As the General Manager, you will drive sales, manage staff, maintain inventory, and ensure the store's overall success.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nOversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.\r\nRecruit, train, and supervise store staff.\r\nFoster a positive and productive work environment.\r\nSet performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.\r\nEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures.\r\nManage inventory levels, order products, and ensure stock is well-organized.\r\nMonitor store cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards.\r\nHandle customer complaints, returns, and refunds professionally.\r\nDevelop and manage store budgets, including payroll and operational expenses.\r\nMonitor and analyze sales performance, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.\r\nEnsure accurate cash handling and bank deposits.\r\nDrive sales through effective merchandising, promotions, and customer engagement.\r\nAnalyze market trends and customer preferences to adjust product offerings.\r\nImplement local marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and customer loyalty.\r\nEnsure the store adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.\r\nMaintain accurate records of transactions, inventory, and employee schedules.\r\nQualifications\r\nMinimum of 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a convenience store or similar environment.\r\nStrong leadership and team-building skills.\r\n3 years of experience supervising others in fast food, restaurant, retail, or convenience operations is highly preferred.\r\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\r\nAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\r\nProficient in inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting.\r\nKnowledge of retail software systems is a plus.\r\nMust have TABC & Food Manager's Certification.\r\nNorthwest Petroleum (NWP) is a branded fuel retailer and an official fuel partner of 'Shell' and 'Phillips 66'.
