Job Description Welder/Fabricator – Custom Manufacturing EnvironmentAssignment Length: Long-term contract opportunity (6+ months)Schedule: 50–60+ hours per week availableCompensation: Competitive hourly pay, weekly payroll, per diem assistance, and travel reimbursement available for qualified travelersWe are seeking experienced Welder/Fabricators to support production in a custom manufacturing and fabrication environment serving industrial and commercial projects.This role is ideal for individuals with strong hands-on fabrication experience (at least 5+ years) who are comfortable working from blueprints and producing high-quality custom components in a fast-paced shop setting.Responsibilities:Perform MIG welding and fabrication on a variety of metal componentsRead and interpret blueprints, sketches, and fabrication drawingsFabricate custom parts and assemblies to customer specificationsWork with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum materialsOperate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and efficientlyMaintain high quality standards and attention to detailSupport shop safety, housekeeping, and team production goalsAssist with fit-up, weld prep, grinding, and finishing operationsQualificationsMinimum 5 years of welding/fabrication experience in a manufacturing or custom fabrication environmentStrong blueprint reading and layout skillsExperience with MIG welding in multiple positions preferredFamiliarity with fabrication tools, measuring devices, and shop equipmentAbility to work extended overtime schedules as neededOverhead crane and forklift experience is a plus (training may be provided)Tools & Equipment:Candidates should be prepared to bring standard fabrication and welding tools, including PPE, basic hand tools, measuring tools, clamps, and welding gear.This opportunity offers steady hours, long-term work potential, and the chance to work on unique fabrication projects in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.Company DescriptionWhat Trades Resource Does: Support Manufacturing sites with Staffing Positions from contract to Direct Hire!
