Key Details -Assignment Type:Locum Tenens-Setting:Hospital-Start Date:07/24-Schedule:24hr Call, from 7/24 8:00 AM - 7/27 8:00 AM and 7/27 8:00 AM - 8/3 8:00 AM-Patient Population:All Ages-Location:Clinton, NC-Stipends:Housing in hospital apartments; travel costs capped at $500 for non-local candidates Benefits - Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Lodging and mileage reimbursement - Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities - Provide on-call coverage for emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and gynecological procedures- Round on patients, managing up to an average of 27 deliveries monthly- Coordination with regional hospitals for high-risk delivery transfers Qualifications - Active NC medical license, DEA, NC Medicaid Credential- Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics- Must be fully vaccinated- Currently delivering babies with verifiable case logs- No recent malpractice cases or disciplinary actions Working Hours - 24-hour call coverage according to scheduled periods- Must be within 20 minutes of hospital per bylaws Skills - Expertise in routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and emergency response- Proficiency in surgical and office gynecology procedures- Preferred skills in prenatal ultrasound interpretation and decision-making for high-risk cases This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a hospital with supportive staff and diverse patient needs.
