Job Description Position: Occupational Therapist All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Location: 102-bed skilled nursing centerHours: 35 hours per weekSalary: $39-40 per hourWe are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at our 102-bed skilled nursing center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a positive impact on their lives.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine their individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans- Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities to improve patients' functional abilities and independence- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients- Provide education and training to patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to support their daily activities- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with facility policies and state regulations- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans- Stay current with the latest advancements in occupational therapy and incorporate them into practiceQualifications:- Bachelor's xmcpwfu or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation- CPR certification
